About College

Siddharth College of Arts & Commerce is located in Bidar (Karnataka) offering various under graduate courses. Established in 1991 under the initiative of Karnataka People’s Education Society, the college imparts quality education to groom qualified graduates in the region. Siddharth College of Arts & Commerce is imparting the courses under the affiliation frof Gulbarga University, Gulbarga. The college has well-qualified and dedicated lecturers to impart quality education to its students, which will help them accomplish their aim and objective.

ACCREDITATION

The establishment of Karnataka People’s Education Society (Formerly known as Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Smarak Samiti, Gulbarga) has its own historical background. In 1942 Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar established People’s Education Society in Aurangabad, for the upliftment of downtrodden people. Inspired by this, Dr. Mallikarjun M. Kharge, the founder chairman of K.P.E. Society Kalaburgi with the help of former legislators and like-minded persons, took the task of installing the statue of Dr. B.R.Ambedkar, the architect of Indian Constitution, at Gulbarga and constituted a committee on 23-08-1973. Our beloved late Prime minister Mrs. Indira Gandhi unveiled the statue on 05-03-1977.

Hence all the students should compulsorily attend the exam. The internal marks will not be awarded to those who remain absent to the exam without any genuine reason. * It is a hereby to inform all the students of our college that the Special N.S.S camp is organized at Dhamma Darshan Bhoomi , Buddhavihar Vaishli Nagar , Anadoor from 1st August to 6th August 2023. Hence all the students should atten the special camp cumpulsorily
* The Founders Day will be celebrated on the occasion of the Birth Day of our Founder President Dr. Mallikarjun Kargeji. At 11.00 P.M on 21-07-2023. Hence all the students should be present and make it successful
* This is hereby to inform all the students of B.A and B.Com II semester that the Internal Assessment Exams will be conducted on 24th to 26th of July 2023. Hence all B.A And B.Com IInd semester students should attend the exam compulsorily. Internal marks will not be allotted to those who remain absent without any genuine reason and the absentees will not be allowed to attend the main exam.
